Medochemie sponsored the performance "Where is my mom ... you are next to me and I am not afraid"

A thrilling theatrical piece with the title "Where is my mom ... when you are next to me and I am not afraid!",  dedicated to all persons struggling  with cancer, but also to those who lost their fight, prematurely and unfairly, was presented by The Cyprus Association of Friends and Persons with Brain Tumours (CBTA), on Wednesday, 14 of June 2017, at Strovolos Municipal Theatre.

The performance is based on real facts and conveys to the audience through kinesiology, choreography and music, the brave battle of patient with cancer. The dramatical choreography of the play was inspired by the talented choreographer Giorgos Dimopoulos, demonstrates the patient's struggle with the disease, from the time was first informed of his illness, the stages of healing and the constant search for his mother's arms. The work escalates with the representation for hope, his determination to live and finally his redemption. The intensifications and constant alternations of scenes unfolding in front of the audience create an infinite range of emotions and reactions.

This Charity Performance was held under the auspices of Mrs Andri Anastasiades, wife of the President of the Republic of Cyprus and with the support of the Minister of Health, Dr George Pamboridis and the Mayor of Strovolos, Mr. Andreas Papacharalambous. All net proceedings will be offered for the treatment of patients with brain tumours.
