As part of Medochemie's 40-year anniversary, the Company organized cultural events.
The cultural events took place at Curium Theatre and Paphos Ancient Odeon, exclusively for Doctors and Health Care Professionals from Limassol and Paphos.
The event was titled "The Chronicle of Cyprus" of Leontius Machairas, presented by the theatrical group of the University of Cyprus. The performance moved the attendees with the particular language of the period and historical events of the Middle Ages, during the Frankish period, around the middle of 1300 AD.
The event was crowned with success, as a large number of doctors attended, and had an enjoyable time during the performance as well as the cocktail that followed. Executive Chairman and Founder of Medochemie, Dr. Andreas Pittas, in a brief greeting, welcomed all attendees to the event in Curium Ancient Theatre making a brief reference to his special relationship with art and especially the work of Leontius Machairas. In his speech, the Director of the Cultural Centre of the University of Cyprus, dramatist and director of the show Professor Michalis Pieris, praised Medochemie and especially Dr. Pittas for the support and promotion of culture in Cyprus. Medochemie’s success and multiple distinctions, affirmed in a very positive way its diversity and its particular sensitivity for Cyprus by offering such a beautiful evening to associates, physicians, dentists and pharmacists.
