At Medochemie, we have great respect and sensitivity towards the environment. The forest is a natural resource with major significance and great value for life and human beings. It is a renewable natural resource with unlimited potential for economic, environmental, social and cultural development for the country and the creation of better living conditions. The fires did not only destroy the beauty of a forest landscape but also the ability to harvest and use all of these resources.
As a Company and as citizens we believe we have a responsibility to protect the natural resources and their safe delivery to the next generations. The reforestations contribute to the regeneration of nature and restore hope in life, create hopeful conditions for now and for the future. Medochemie is proud for the reforestation conducted in Saitas, in 2009 which today has revived the burned landscape.
